Summer 2020 Opportunities
A Season for New Community
Sure of what we hope for, certain of what we cannot see. Hebrews 11:1
Even though coronavirus has disrupted summer youth camp programs across the country—along with many families’ summer vacation plans—more and more folks are finding refuge in a different place: the great outdoors. And what better place to do that than at one of Lutherhaven Ministries three magnificent sites—Camp Lutherhaven on the lake, Shoshone Mountain Retreat up the river, and McPherson Meadows, camp on the wild side!
Camp stands out from the hustle and bustle—and expense—of hotel accommodations. This summer Lutherhaven is offering a whole variety of new opportunities for Happy Campers of every age to enjoy the beauty, comfort, friendships, recreational opportunities, excellent meals, and Christ-centered programming of camp—whether staying in tents, RVs, yurts, cabins, or our new Pinecrest Lodge.
The views are amazing. The accommodations are cozy and the food is renowned. You control your own schedule. Outdoor activities and relaxation are both made easy by our professional camp staff. You can even take advantage of the many terrific north Idaho attractions nearby.
All our guest cabins and rooms, RV and tent sites, and yurts meet or exceed the Social Distancing Guidelines set by the CDC, and are regularly cleaned and sanitized by on-site housekeeping staff using approved disinfectants. Most accommodations have private bathrooms. RV sites include electric, water and sewer at each site. Families (and friends who may be socially distancing together) share the same room, cabin, or building. Socialization is always optional with others on camp, all while maintaining a distance of 6 feet or more; you can even choose to limit all interaction with others, and just re-create as a family or group. We’ll even have private campfires and yummy s’mores ready—just for your family or friends.
