NEW! Creator’s Workshop at North Garden Lodge
November 8 @ 4:00 pm - November 10 @ 12:00 pm
$385The Creator’s Workshop Weekend Retreat
Lutherhaven is thrilled to announce the first-ever Lutherhaven Ministries weekend retreat in the new North Garden Lodge! The Creator’s Workshop is a weekend retreat that provides the space for creatives to come and experience the Creator – through the Word, creative outlets, community and creation. Join us November 8th-10th along with Lin Preiss, theological artist and chaplain, who will be leading us throughout the weekend!
The Creator’s Workshop is for those who need to leave behind the daily grind and enter into God’s Creation and to share space with other Creators. Each person attending the retreat will bring their own needs and expectations. Prior to your arrival at the Lodge, we encourage you to think about what it is that you need out of the weekend – is it space to create, time to write, peace and quiet, being in community with other creative believers, or is there another need you bring? We encourage you to bring the book on your bookshelf that you have been wanting to read but haven’t been able to get to or your creative outlet (art, music, writing, etc.). The weekend is unstructured enough to allow you to have the time and space for what you need – time to write, paint, sculpt, read, make music, or whatever it might be – alongside time in community through guided prayer, sharing your creative endeavors, and shared meals.
The weekend will be spent at the gorgeous new North Garden Lodge, nestled on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene at Camp Lutherhaven. To learn more about this incredible new space, click here.

Guest Speaker
Lutherhaven is excited to welcome our guide and facilitator for the weekend, Lin Preiss. Lin is a theological artist and chaplain living in Spokane, WA. She received her BFA in painting then expanded to mixed media and sculpture with an MA in Art and Theology from Fuller Seminar. With more than 15 years of experience as a hospital chaplain, she loves discovering where God can show up in our hardest days. Lin utilizes art and contemplation to both disrupt and to heal in our connections with each other, the world, ourselves, and God.
