Volunteers … Always Needed! … Always Welcome!
Lutherhaven Ministries would not be where it is today without the faithful gifts of time and talent of more than 70 years of supporters like you! The camps were built through the efforts of literally thousands of devoted servant/volunteers of every age!
Volunteers are always needed—all year long—to help make Camp Lutherhaven and Shoshone Mountain Retreat operate successfully.
There’s always plenty to do around camp, from day to day upkeep to special projects! Come by yourself, as a family, a youth or adult group, a Scout troop, or entire congregation and spend a day, weekend, week or longer serving at Camp Lutherhaven or Shoshone Mountain Retreat!
Contact us for details about volunteering yourself or your group anytime during the year, for any length of time! We often can provide volunteers with lodging or RV space (with hook-ups) and meals, when available.Volunteer Policies

Servant Weekends & Volunteer Events
Work alongside our full-time staff and help get your camps ready for summer cleaning cabins, washing windows, painting walls, planting flowers, doing light construction … and plenty more! Servant Weekends include special evening programs, housing, meals and plenty of work to keep you (and your pals) busy and even make you a little tired by the end! Help your camps in truly significant ways, and give yourself and your family a meaningful time working side by side with new (and old) friends!
In addition to hard workers who can build, repair, clean and organize, we’re looking for specialists in areas such as carpentry and painting who can volunteer their time. If you’re a servant who can’t come during Servant Weekends but are free at a later date, let us know! Your beautiful camps can always use your help!Learn More
