I've been taking groups up to Shoshone Mountain Retreat since the camp first started in 1998 and have personally seen this program evolve and refine into a wonderful enrichment and culminating outdoor education program for my sixth grade students.
The level of quality is sustained from the outdoor education experiences to the physical challenges through the meals and rustic accommodations. It truly is the complete package!
The sixth grade students here at Sagle Elementary look forward to this great outdoor adventure known as "Shoshone Mountain Retreat". Parent volunteers always leave pleasantly surprised at the level of involvement that the Shoshone Camp staff take with their groups. It makes their job, along with the participating teacher's, that of a tour guide from activity to activity. It's a wonderful chance to see and get to know students in a safe, comfortable, natural setting with energetic and enthusiastic group leaders provided by Shoshone Base Camp.
It is a wonderful program that I strongly recommend, either in the fall to begin your year as a team building activity, or in the spring as a great culminating experience to celebrate your school year.

This is the second year that I have taken the leadership group from our school. The value of the program is ten fold.
