Bring your family and friends up the beautiful North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene to our new Shoshone Creek Ranch for old-fashion work, play and fun!

C’mon up and settle in Friday evening (complete with cracklin’ fire and blazing stars,) pitch in all day Saturday on work projects -- around the horse barns, in the restored Homestead Cabin, out on the back forty -- then the whole of Sunday’s yours: horseback riding, biking one of the nearby world-class Rails-to-Trails, hiking, fly fishing for one of the wily cutthroats… it’s choose your own adventure, and you'll be helping get this great new program off to a fantastic start!

Enjoy an afternoon of world class catch-and-release fly fishing along the beautiful North Fork of the Coeur d' Alene river & Shoshone Creek or jump in and cool off in the swimming hole!

Take your sack lunch and head out for some of the most beautiful mountain scenery around! Hike the Trail of Ancient Cedars, the Peak-to-Peak, or the Centennial National Scenic Trail. Don't miss Fern & Shadow Falls just up the river from camp!

trail rideHorseback Trail Rides!

Full Trail Rides - Participants must be 9 years old or older and at least 4'6" tall in order to have adequate control over a horse.
Adult-Led Rides -  If your child is younger than 9 or shorter than 4'6" you may accompany them on a shorter trail ride, walking next to the horse leading with a line while your child enjoys views from the saddle!
* Trail Ride participants (or parents/guardians for riders under 18) must complete an Equine Liability Form before riding

hiawathaMountain Bike the Route of the Hiawatha!

About $45 for bike, helmet, headlamp & return shuttle pass!

Ride the famed Route of the Hiawatha through ten deep mountain tunnels (the longest is two miles long!) and over seven high trestle bridges...and it's all down hill! Find out why they really call it Mountain Biking! This is one amazing trip! Details at RotH website (above).



Cost

Meals are just 5 bucks a piece, your work is absolutely priceless, and the memories you'll take home are free!
Free lodging; meals include Saturday B, L & D and Sunday brunch and sack lunch. That's only $25 per person!

*Note: Friday night dinner is not included.  Eat before you head up the river! You may want to try the famous Snakepit or Spragpole for some authentic North Idaho vittles!

What to Bring

  • Clothing that you don't mind getting dirty! Don't forget a sweatshirt for the evenings!
  • Long pants for horseback riding
  • Closed toed shoes to work in & river shoes if you want to swim!
