Lutherhaven Ministries Internships
Thanks to a major grant from Vision and Call Initiative of the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust of Vancouver, Washington, Lutherhaven Ministries is offering 9- to 10-month internships in 2012-13 and 2013-14 to serve the ministry in significant and exciting ways!
About the Internships
Lutherhaven Internships are designed for upper level college students and recent graduates. An internship with Lutherhaven can:
- Help fulfill degree requirements as part of a college or university major (students are responsible for arranging and paying for any associated college credits);
- Fill an intentional sabbatical from upper level college schooling;
- Offer the opportunity to experience hands-on ministry after college before entering the workforce, going into full-time ministry, or enrolling in grad school.
Internships with Lutherhaven Ministries offer young adults the opportunity to grow in leadership capability, discern God's call, gain relevant skills, work as a significant part of a team, and capture vision for a world in need of transformation. The program helps foster a lifelong commitment in emerging leaders to journeying with Christ while having a unique leadership role in God's work in the world.

- Ministry field experience with qualified supervisors and mentors
- Opportunities to work independently and as part of a ministry team
- Professional training
- Completion of significant personal ministry projects
- Attendance at a multi-organizational Ministry Vision & Call Retreat with interns from around the nation

Two 9- to 10-month internships are available each year, approximately September 1 - May 31; opportunity exists to stay on for the summer months in summer camp program leadership.
