Lutherhaven Spring Servant Weekend
Love Camp Lutherhaven?
Ever been a part of or wanted to help out with our work weekends?
Join us this spring for a new twist on an old tradition…Lutherhaven’s Spring Servant Weekend.
Come by yourself, with your family, your youth group, or bring a crew of friends to help camp get ready for the summer season. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy the fun of camp together in the evenings and Saturday afternoon.
We’ll work from breakfast ‘till 3 pm on Saturday prepping camp with landscaping projects, wood chopping, deep cleaning and everything in between. Then at 3 we’ll knock off work and enjoy fun camp activities together such as hiking, canoeing, ball field games, climbing tower and zip line (weather permitting) or curl up with a mug of cocoa and enjoy the view of the lake.
Friday and Saturday evening we’ll have camp fire and devotion time as well as s’mores…a camp necessity! Sunday we’ll wrap up with a devotion time as well. You’re welcome to come Saturday for the day, for one night (either Friday or Saturday night) or the whole weekend (Friday evening through Sunday morning).
Servants Weekend helps camp in significant ways and gives you and your family a meaningful time working side by side with new (and old) friends! Thanks!
$20/ person (4 and under come free) to help pay for food.
*Youth must be accompanied by adults.
Can’t make it for the weekend but would still love to serve camp?
Let us know! Lutherhaven can always use your help!
In addition to hard workers who can help build, repair, clean and organize, we’re looking for specialists in areas such as carpentry and painting who can come volunteer their time. Phase III of the Retreat Center is in progress and a few landscaping projects around camp will be started.
