Pastor Berg grew up in Redmond, Washington and Susan grew up in closeby Belleview. Tor ran cross country and track at Eastern, earned his degree in English and writing, and was active part with Campus Ministries. He then attended Luther Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity. Susan attended Pacific Lutheran University in Elementary Education and received her Master’s in counseling at Seattle University. She and Tor were married in 1991 and have two wonderful children, son Micah, and daughter Hannah. Tor enjoys fly fishing, golf, good conversation, and is always up for lunch or a Diet Coke; just give him a call. Susan just celebrated 20 years in youth ministry, and hopes to continue serving, playing and praying with kids until she has a full head of gray hair! You can catch her drinking coffee, singing in choir and dreaming up her next fun project. Susan is honored to serve as Vice-President of the Eastern Washington/Idaho Synod. |

Ryan and Elizabeth have sixty-five combined years of experience as baptized children of God, "walking wet" in God's gracious waters as long as they can remember. Ryan and Elizabeth are Co-Family &Youth Ministry Directors at Immanuel. They have two boys, Blazer (3 1/2) and Dash (1). The Luitens love "swimming" with fish in aquariums, splashing in the ocean, playing in swimming pools and jumping in puddles ... which remind all four of their baptisms! |

Sarah is a Director of Christian Education serving her 4th year as Assistant Director of Christian Ministries at Concordia-Portland. Passionate about young people, ministry, and God’s creation, she is excited to come to Lutherhaven to enjoy all three! She has a Bachelors in Christian Education and a teaching credential from Concordia-Portland, and a Masters in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia-Irvine. She is married to Tim Elliott, who just completed his enlistment in the Coast Guard, and they have a 5 month old son, Noah. Together with their amazing dog Bear, they enjoy all sorts of adventures in God’s GREAT outdoors!

Melissa is in her third year of ministry at BSLC and loves working with youth and families! She really enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and being outdoors! A Midwestern girl at heart, Melissa is a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and she and her husband Dave love Gonzaga University Bulldog basketball! She's a former Lutherhaven counselor and is really looking forward to returning to camp to spend a weekend with some amazing junior highers! |
